My Kids

well, they're not actually mine. but they're my students, so i guess i can call them my own. :D

"what did i do?" (the middle one is my most favourite)
they weren't sitting still!

pretty babies ♥
i. love. boys.
angels!
super cute teeth! (and super cute girl)
privileges of being a teacher: TEACHER'S BATHROOM! (and a teacher's identity card)
spying on the seniors
favourite student in my mum's class
my mum :D

indeed, working with me is the best
closeup!
dimples :D
know it alls ♥
the most well behaved boys ever ever everrr
naughtiest girls ever
the tiny tables on the left are in my corner!
cute, isn't it? :D
well, here you go. these were my students, and this is my corner (since i do group work, i don't need a classroom). my job is to take groups of 9 children at a time from each class and do activities with them related to their syllabus. there are three classes, KG B, KG A and KG V, two of them have 25 kids and one has 27 so i work with 77 kids daily! (except on Thursdays, i only have one class, and i wander around the school aimlessly during my free time)
i'm also assisting the KG Islamiat teacher three times a week, that's pretty easy because in this school they teach Islamiat in English, not Urdu (YAYY), and the kids really like me so they are easy to manage.
i couldn't put up pictures of all of my kids (there are too many!), but these are the pictures that came out pretty nice. it took ages and ages to upload, i had to put my laziness aside for some time so that i could do this. imagine that, me being not-lazy for a change. haha i can't believe it myself
and oh yes, i found my camera. that's how i got to upload these in the first place. all your hoping-that-i-would-find-it paid off, so thank you :D
what do you all think of my students? i would really like to know. they're all so special to me, i love all of them so much! i spend half my day increasing their knowledge (LOL UNBELIEVABLE), and i've grown so attached to them, my life revolves around these little angels. my only friends, haha

Jackky @ Arjun Rampal's Birthday Party + More F.A.L.T.U updates

i tried and tried and tried to think of a creative title for this post, but i just couldn't come up with one.
you're not excused for reading this post based on the lameness of the title, though. READ ON!

it seems like Jackky Bhagnani was awestruck with Arjun Rampal's awesomeness in the latter's birthday party in LAP Lounge, Delhi. LAP belongs to Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr, and is a members-only affair. (read more about it here)
first of all, i didn't know Jackky Bhagnani knew Arjun Rampal well enough to be invited to his birthday o.O
secondly, Arjun Rampal owns a club? o.O (wow.)

here's what the love of my life Jackky tweeted:
Had a blast last night at lap in delhi for @rampalarjun bday it was a blastttttt on my way back to mumbai as I'm shooting for FALTU

@rampalarjun is a brilliant DJ he was playin like a pro thank u arjun and mehr for a brilliant party

thirdly, Arjun Rampal is a brilliant DJ? o.O (wow? yes. wow.)

okay, so he was a DJ in EMI, but i didn't know he has those skills in real life, too.

in F.A.L.T.U news, someone asked Arshad Warsi how Jackky's second debut is going, and this is what he replied:

i wish i was Arshad Warsi's close friend, so that i could call him up and say, "ELABORATION, PLEASE?"
seriously. i would really like to know every minute detail of Jackky Bhagnani's progress, so that i could root for him with even more confidence that i have in him at the moment.

the F.A.L.T.U cast shot a scene in Honey Bhagnani's store, Honey Homes! that is really cool. i wonder what that scene is about. college kids with an aspiration to become interior designers? college kids breaking and entering an interior designers boutique? college kid's sibling is an interior designer? oh wait

here's what Puja had to say:
Had an awesum evening with ma Faltu's at yellow tree , looking forward to shooting tom at my darling gal's store Honney Homes its the best

ewwwwww

to all twitteraties..please pray and bless the F.A.L.T.U team.we guys are working extremely hard to make a good film for everybody to enjoy!

good nite people. got a 6am call time for F.A.L.T.U! guys pray for us and bless us. the whole unit is working extremely hard!!

Jackky Bhagnani in a Hot Sherwani!

hello, JB Fans!
if you've ever been in moment where you just feel like drooling over an item of clothing, you're not alone. i've been there too (in fact i'm still there).
if you're wondering what kind of clothing makes Furree Katt drool, stop wondering! (seriously, stop.)
let me inform you that this particular type of attire is not for girls but for guys, and that this attire suits hot males the most (this ought to explain the drooling part).
it's called.. *drumroll* the Sherwani!

definitions stolen from the internet:
  • Sherwani (Hindi: शेरवानी, Urdu: شیروانی) is a long coat-like garment worn in South Asia, very similar to an Achkan or doublet, and is traditionally associated with the Northern Indian, and especially with the Muslim aristocracy.
  • A coat-like garment buttoned in the front which reaches down to the knees or lower. Usually has embroidery or some other type of work on it. Worn by men at weddings and other formal parties.
  • A coat-like close-fitting garment of knee-length and opening in front with button-fastenings. Worn by men.

in short; Sherwanis are totally royal. they're worn on special occasions, and are considered formal (yes, that's why everyone stares if you wear Sherwanis at a pool party.)

SHERWANIS ARE SO HOT. click for a larger view (its worth it!)

*sighs* if there's one thing i like about Pakistan, its that we can see all sorts of Sherwanis at formal functions here, and Sherwanis are a joy to look at (double the joy if hot guys wear it).
since Indians and Pakistanis are no strangers to Sherwanis, it's common to see celebrities wearing them for one function or the other, or just plain modeling them on the catwalk:

from left to right: Arjun Rampal, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan

OMG, when i get married, i want my husband to wear a sherwani on the wedding day. he can wear a different Sherwani for each wedding function; (mangni, various dholkis, mehndi, nikkah, rukhsati, valima etc.) i'll even wear the most drab clothes just so all the attention can be directed to his glorious Sherwanis.

glorious indeed.

so, what inspired this post? well, i came across an old photo of Jackky Bhagnani in a Sherwani and i just had to share it with you guys (after making it more presentable of course, since the original picture was too dull and dark). here it is:

AAAH! doesn't Jackky look fabulous? i absolutely love the entire outfit, and the colours are gorgeous.
Jackky wore this at one of the many functions of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty's marriage. i'm ready to bet all my future husband's Sherwanis on Jackky Bhagnani being the best dressed man that day!
from what i know, Jackky loves Sherwanis. (yay, that's another thing we have in common). he has even tweeted regarding this:
http://twitpic.com/37o6lo - I love wearing indian sherwani , wearing this for the wedding I am attending in delhi :)

YAYYYYYYY. if Jackky Bhagnani's wife criteria would include 'Must Love Sherwanis', then i would be on the top of his list. :D

now, for the big question: do you think Sherwanis are (SUPER-ULTRA) awesome, like i do? i spent a lot of time looking for pictures which justify the amazing royal/regal/exquisite quality of this attire, but there are better ones out there as well. (please agree with me, i don't want to realise that i'm the only warped person who loves Sherwanis to the point of... extreme love.

wait, Snoop Dogg loves Sherwanis too. HURRAYY
Sherwani and turban; swag's so urban.

 ~ in blog news:
37 followers! YAY! i love you all. i remember when i started out with zero, and i was so excited when the numbers increased, slowly but surely. i still get excited like mad when someone follows my blog, or when i get comments.
6000 page views! double YAY! i wouldn't have imagined The Jackky Bhagnani Obsession to even reach a 1000 views when i had first started.
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my previous posts. i just want to let you all know that i really appreciate it, and i'm tons grateful to all of you. :)
Dear Amy Sea, i still can't comment on your blog. :( you added 'links to post' instead of a comments option! i would have looked up how to add a comments widget and sent you the information, but i really apologize profusely for my laziness.

that's all for now, i suppose. i will update you all on F.A.L.T.U as soon as i stop being lazy about it.
love!

Life Update #5

What am I afraid of?
This is supposed to be what dreams are made of
The people I don’t have time to hang with
Always look at me and say the same shit
They say,
"You promised me you would never change."

i am a FAIL at life. you know, those 'epic fail' types. the ones whom you look at and flash up the 'L'  hand gesture at. this time i will absolutely not stand for you all telling me stuff like "no Furree, you're not a loser", because i know myself better than anyone else, and what i know is that i am a loser.
there are times where i absolutely get bugged with myself (i will never say i hate myself, or i hate my life, because i am not that type of person, but i do get irritated with myself a LOT) and usually i end up being left in completely awkward situations.

yesterday, after i had finished all my work, i was sitting around with a few KG kids since their parents hadn't come to pick them up. we were watching videos on my ipod when three seniors (two boys, one girl) walked over to us. the kids sitting with me made a run for it (guess they were as intimidated as i was), only one girl stayed, with whom the three seniors began talking with. it was weird, one of the seniors was the Head Boy (who i think is really cute), and he just stood there awkwardly while the other guy and girl were doing baby-talk with the little kid. i stood up, ready to leave, when i noticed that the girl had GORGEOUS eyes.
so, what did i do? like an idiot, i told her, ofcourse.
me - you have really pretty eyes!
her - *looks away* oh, thanks.
thank you for saying thank you like i just offended you, Pretty Eyed Senior Girl.
before that, i asked the Head Boy if he was in grade 11 (because i wasn't really sure if this school had a grade 12 or not), and he just said 'yes' while taking a step away from me.
so its confirmed; senior students DO wish to avoid me like the plague. why? it really does hurt that none of them have the slightest bit of interest to talk to me. they look at me like i'm 'eww', there's no other way to describe it.
i dread to see seniors nowadays. i dread seeing students my age wearing school uniform and laughing and joking and hanging out with their friends while i just work work work, with nobody to laugh, joke, or hang out with, no uniform to wear, no school to proudly say i am a student of.
while i'm not a crybaby type of person, i did let a few tears of frustration leak yesterday. that's what i am above all things, i'm frustrated. frustrated that i don't have friends, frustrated that i can't study, frustrated that most 16 year olds in this school probably have plenty of people to sit and discuss their problems with and i don't, frustrated because people will never ever like me.
i saw The Blonde Senior today as well, playing basketball all on his own. he always does that, and i always watch him. creepy stalker much?
i also saw the teacher's son with who i really want to be friends with, but i was taking a class that time and i couldn't leave my kids just to say 'hi' to him. i wish i had, though.

i also think i'm going boy crazy. having left all 'real' contact with ANYBODY my age, it seems like i go into a liking overdrive when it comes to senior boys, and a real intimidation when it comes to senior girls. i can never ever be normal in front of them.
Dear Blonde Senior. you are so adorable. i have the hugest crush on you.
Dear Head Boy. i really really like you. i have the hugest crush on you. why do you act like i'm someone you wouldn't ever want to talk to?
Dear Isl teacher's son. i want to be your friend. i think i may have the hugest crush on you. (haha, his mum will KILL me, i assist her with Isl apart from my Assistant to KG thing)
p.s you look like a teddy. i'm not kidding, i'm serious. a real life teddy.

That's when you start to laugh
Saying i just want what i can't have
Won't even give me a chance
Claiming i'm just not as serious as you
Shawty if you only knew,
This is serious.

but of course, i know for sure that with time i will get over these crushes, and none of them classify as 'serious'. i just like writing about them so that i can get them out of my system, and once i know my feelings are recorded and kept aside, it becomes easier for them to dissipate inside me and stop giving me those awful butterflies.
and girls. oh, how hard i (almost) try to talk to senior girls. they give me such looks that i shy away from them, and i guess i would probably never ever find the words to begin a conversation with any of them. what do 16 year old girls talk about? i have forgotten what i used to talk about with my lovely friends, back when i had them. having spent half of my 15th and nearly all of my 16th year away from people, i am clueless to what makes these girls seem like they enjoy the conversations they have with each other.

BLAH. i feel so useless. whats life without friends? sad. frustrated. lonely. weird. painful. painful. painful.
what contribution can i give to anyone's happiness when there is nobody to contribute to? who can contribute to my happiness when there are no contributors?
please note that i am not talking about my students. the only time i feel happy during the day is when i'm around my 4 to 7 year olds, teaching them, playing with them, laughing and joking and scolding and supervising. though working brings joy to my life, it comes with tons of painful reminders of the life i left behind.
i would never ever say that i hate my life, i absolutely loathe it when people say they hate their lives. i just hate the current situation, and i will try to make it better, enough to genuinely be happy and contented again. though that plan seems like an epic fail already

i wish i could convince myself to stop it with the self pity already. i wish i could convince myself to look at the positive side of things. i just CAN'T. the willpower isn't there. i know if i was someone else and i read this post, i would get pretty irritated with all the complaining and moaning and whining, but where else can i let these feelings out? there's no one in real life who's going to listen to me. if you feel totally bugged with me for this, i don't blame you. :(

moving on, i took loads of pictures of my students, but get this; i lost my camera. that's right, i lost it. if i ever find it i'll post the pictures here, so that you can see the only source of happiness (apart from my blog/other people's blogs/my followers) in my life, but that seems pretty unlikely now. i should have never taken the camera to school. NAZAR LAG GAYI. also broke my cell phone, can't afford a new one. life without a cell phone isn't too bad, there's not much i did with it anyway, but it was a 16th birthday gift and its only been 8-9 months since i've been using it, so yeah. i try taking care of my special things, the expensive things, because once i lose them i'll probably never get to replace them ever. i still have my ipod though, yay.

what else do i blog about? i wanted to blog about more stuff, but i just can't remember any of it.
let me go read my previous Life Updates and see what all i wrote there. o.O
okay, back; most of them are pretty much like this one. just one line after the other about how i don't have friends.
this made me laugh a little, though. its like my Life Updates should be called One More Post About Life With No Friends.

after writing all this down, i feel a little better. i love you, Followers! i really really really really really really really really love you all. thank you for reading my blog. thank you for commenting. thank you for being my online friends. thank you for giving me something to look forward to when i come home after a long day of work. thank you for having such lovely blogs that give me amazing stuff to read everyday. i really really really really mean it, its like you guys are there to pull the shards of sadness out of my heart each and every day, and even though the shards manage to pierce my heart again and again, the hurt lessens quite a lot because of you all. if i didn't have this blog, i would probably spend my time doing a lot of useless/wrong things, and i am so grateful for you all being there for me and keeping me on the path of the sane.

i have to go now, damn. i want to write so much more but there is no time, plus i can't really find words to put my feelings in at the moment. maybe i'll add something in my next post.

bye for now, love you all.

F.A.L.T.U Mumbai Shooting/Photo Shoot News!

good afternoon, Jb Fans (and non-JB Fans).
i have some fresh news for you, YAY! F.A.L.T.U has started shooting its Mumbai portion, and guess where this auspicious event is taking place? in MUMBAI, you goats! (please do not mind when i call you all goats, i do it out of love. and excitement, bxxxh!)

and Arshad Warsi's

aaaand Angad Bedi's (did i tell you guys, i find Angad Bedi HOT?)
F.A.L.T.U team back in action!! shooting resumes from tomorrow in mumbai!!

so hot.

'wohoooooooooo' indeed. so my first suspicion was RIGHT! i absolutely KNEW shooting could not have been completely over, and i'm glad we'll see a part of India in the movie, (apart from the breathtaking Mauritian locales) because, you know, its an Indian movie. i'm also grinning at how Puja said faltuguri instead of faltugiri, but that's a forgivable mistake. :D

now, for the other news. i wouldn't exactly say this part is breaking news, but it IS news, and its about F.A.L.T.U, so yay! i found out about this day before yesterday and i was too lazy to blog about it, but now i feel pretty much up to it, so here you go:

the F.A.L.T.U cast teamed up again after nearly a month on November 21st to do a photo shoot for the film!
do you realize what this means? the preparations for promotions have begun! i bet the photo shoot was for the movie poster or something, which makes it so exciting to look forward to the pictures being made public.
here are tweets by the cast:

Jackky Bhagnani
Doing a photoshoot for FALTU its good to see everyone in action after a month again

Puja Gupta
What a day , just finished photo shoot with my darling boys Faltu gang , brilliant sunday ,happy guru nanakji's birthday to everyone

Puja Gupta seriously loves the F.A.L.T.U cast, doesn't she? I DO TOO! i love each and every one of them, and i am so psyched about the release!

xx
also, a big shout out to Sweta, a student from the University of Mauritius, who says she LOVES my blog! honestly i am so honoured to be liked by a UoM student (she also said 'great job' and 'keep it up', OMG i am so AWED). by now all of you must be knowing that the entire F.A.L.T.U cast had been shooting in Mauritius for 40 days, and the university they shot in is the prestigious UoM, so any compliment/appreciation/recognition from their students is totally humbling (and also so bloody exciting! :D). i'm glad you like my blog Sweta, and since you have a Twitter Account, you can follow my blog through Google Friend Connect! (the widget is somewhere on the right side of the page) i would really appreciate it (plus, i love people 1000000x more once they become my followers!)
AND I SAW YOUR PICTURE WITH JACKKY BHAGNANI, AAAHHH YOU LUCKY PERSONNNN!!! i am SO jealous, but also really really happy for you :D

one day, when i win a National Blog Award or something, i'll make sure the chief guest of that event is Jackky Bhagnani. then i'll finally have a picture with him too.

p.s ~ Life Update coming soon! so for all of you who have been sitting patiently like ducks waiting for their eggs to hatch (the eggs being my Life Update, haha WEIRD O.O), my next post will most probably be updating you all on my personal life. meanwhile i thank you all for reading my Jackky Bhagnani-based posts, even though its not completely of everyone's interest here.

love!

Jackky's Would-Have-Been Heroine #2

isn't this one of the most adorable movie stills you have ever seen? (i made it even more adorable by editing it, haha.) would you believe that this might have never happened? its true, Jackky Bhagnani was almost going to debut with another actress!
by now, most of you must be aware that Jackky Bhagnani debuted alongside Vaishali Desai in Kal Kissne Dekha, which released in 2009.

isn't she pretty? well, she wasn't the first choice actress at all!

what most of you might not know is that there was a problem in casting the female lead, and Kal Kissne Dekha's female lead was almost...

No. just no. a big fat no indeed.

Mehak Chahal. no, i am not joking. Mehak has starred in movies such as Nayee Padosan (i actually saw that one. yes, i am a loser.), and was offered the female lead role opposite Jackky Bhagnani in Kal Kissne Dekha.

so, why wasn't she part of the movie? well, my dears, this is when the controversy kicks in.
apparently Mehak walked out on Kal Kissne Dekha, and gave the reason that the director, Vivek Sharma, was acting too over friendly with her!

this over friendly guy has a lot of explaining to do.

according to Mahek, Vivek kept vying for her attention on the movie's sets, and one day he bombarded her with several text messages and later got angry because she didn't reply to just ONE message out of all. Mahek also said she had issues with her costumes in the film (LOL? i've seen the movie, Vaishali looked good in all her costumes, they were fabulous). She even went on to say that whenever Vivek would explain a scene to her, the rest of the crew would talk in hushed tones and laugh. (i would have laughed too, Mahek, but not because of Vivek.) In the end, Mahek quit the film, and all Vivek Sharma had to say was that Mahek was just trying to get publicity, and she was the one who was loading all her personal problems on to him, and he listened to her like an obedient puppy. (okay, it wasn't exactly like that, but this story is quite blah. read the official news about it here)

well, i think Mahek made the best career choice of her life, because as soon as she went away, Vivek signed up Vaishali (who is prettier, more professional and wayyy more talented than Mahek) and we got some serious awesomeness added to Kal Kissne Dekha! i shudder to think what the movie would have been like if Mahek had acted in it.
in ode to the AWESOMENESS of Jackky Bhagnani and Vaishali Desai's pairing, i made a picture:

haha, i was really bored.

there was also some buzz about Jackky Bhagnani and Vaishali Desai dating, but that died down quickly(/they broke up). i wouldn't be surprised if it were true, though.
it really seems like Jackky Bhagnani has been through a lot in his career already, in terms of his co-actors. i think the final decision on Kal Kissne Dekha (and F.A.L.T.U) have been great ones. what's your opinion?

till next time, take care JB Fans.

F.A.L.T.U releasing day before World Cup Final!

BREAKING NEWS! (i'm serious, its not even been a few hours since this news came out)

as you all know, in THIS post i had told you all that F.A.L.T.U would release around Valentine's day (11th February). it seems like Vashu Bhagnani has thought of another strategy, and has changed the release date to April 1st!
no, he is not planning to play a big fat April Fool's joke on us. instead, he is releasing it on this particular date because April 2nd is the ICC Cricket World Cup final, and according to Vashu, the release plan is a 'well thought out' call rather than a decision which comes with an 'element of risk'.

No other filmmaker is daring to release their film on this date, as everyone will be preparing to watch the World Cup Final, and since cricket and Bollywood are always rivaling to grab the entire Indian population's attention, most filmmakers would rather be on the safe side and release their film at a time when no major cricket event is taking place, especially when it involves the Indian cricket team (and India is among the hosts of the ICC Cricket World Cup next year!).

Apparently a release during the World Cup has been tried and proved successful for Vashu Bhagnani, as he released the film he produced, Biwi No. 1, during the 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup, and it turned out to be one of the greatest comedies in Bollywood history.

This is so exciting! even though it means waiting for another month, i think it's a great strategy. this way, there will be more media coverage focusing on the Cricket Vs. Bollywood hype, and a lot of people will have a super start to April with F.A.L.T.U releasing the first day and the World Cup Final taking place on the 2nd.
Vashu Bhagnani also says: "We have good time ahead of us to turn F.A.L.T.U. into the most happening film during the cricket season."
that's right, there are still 5 months before F.A.L.T.U releases, so there is plenty of time to promote it like crazy, and with the cricket angle involved, the publicity will huge for sure.

that's all i have for now. take care JB Fans!

F.A.L.T.U only has two songs?

SHOCKING NEWS! we all know Bollywood is famous worldwide for including songs in each and every movie it spews out, and has an average of four to six songs per film. This will not be the case with F.A.L.T.U!

According to director Remo D'Souza, apart from a promotional number, there will only be ONE more song in the film. now, all of us already know that F.A.L.T.U is not a dance film, but i think this is taking the non-dance route too seriously.
the F.A.L.T.U cast shot the promotional number in the University of Mauritius:

wow, it looks really colourful. there has already been positive feedback about the soundtrack of F.A.L.T.U, and it seems like the video will be just as exciting! (loving Riteish's outfit)
you can read a full article about the shooting of this song here.

This also means that the story of F.A.L.T.U has to be really solid, since it won't have a large number of amazing songs like Kal Kissne Dekha did. apart from Jackky Bhagnani and Vaishali Desai's acting, the only thing successful about Kal Kissne Dekha was the soundtrack, and F.A.L.T.U will not have that advantage if it only has two songs!

Kal Kissne Dekha also included a song and dance at the South African university they were shooting at, in which everyone was decked out in colourful clothes as well:

Kal Kissne Dekha was such a colourful movie!

it seems like F.A.L.T.U is also going along the same lines of college kids dressed up awesomely. can't wait to see the final result!

what is your opinion? do you think F.A.L.T.U should have more songs? or will the lack of songs make it easier to concentrate on the storyline? i think Remo D'Souza is playing it safe here, because if there were too many songs in the film, people would criticize him for using the film platform to promote his dance moves (since he's a famous choreographer). i think he made a wise choice, even though it probably would have increased the film's appeal to have an average of four songs in its soundtrack.

p.s ~ only 19 more posts to go till i reach 100! wow.

F.A.L.T.U Accusations

Hello, JB Fans! its been a long journey of blogging about F.A.L.T.U for me till now, and hopefully this journey will continue till the release, which will be the beginning of another journey (in other words, whatever new journey Jackky Bhagnani is taking, my blog and I will be there to take it with him).

However, I have faced a lot of difficulties in the duration of 4 months, partly because nobody could understand WHY i wanted to blog about Jackky Bhagnani, but mostly because there are tons of ignorant losers in the world who think that this blog is the home for negative things related to F.A.L.T.U.

To all the dear people out there who think that this blog is about making fun of F.A.L.T.U and co,
Have you even read my blog? Do you think i made this entire blog just to make FUN of the movie? The Jackky Bhagnani Obsession has more F.A.L.T.U updates than any other entertainment website. the amount of effort and time I have put into this blog is something your tiny minds would probably never even begin to imagine. if you've read closely, i've always wanted F.A.L.T.U to be a successful movie. since this blog is about my obsession for Jackky Bhagnani, why on Earth would i want to demean/make fun of something that is so important to him, his career, and his success?
just because i have my own style of writing, and because i make an effort to add humour to my blog so that it doesn't become boring, doesn't mean that i am AGAINST Jackky Bhagnani or F.A.L.T.U.
Tell me, would you have had the time to make such a blog? to spend hours at a time trying to put your feelings into words, and to be appealing to a wide variety of people? to put your own personality into news about someone/something else? why do you think i do all of this?
it's because I CARE. that's right, i CARE about Jackky Bhagnani. it's not some silly little crush, or a creepy infatuation, it's just that at first sight i knew that this person would be one of the most important people to me, and even though i cannot explain it entirely, it's just that i feel for him. i would never want anything on my blog to hurt his feelings, or to anger/upset him. i've always tried to make my blog entertaining, because if it was some plain black writing on a white background saying things like: 'faltu shooting in mauritius, faltu crew had a party' it would be pretty much an insult to the rich stories behind these little pieces of news.
This blog is not an official website, so please do NOT expect me to just give news and not add my own input. that is why i made this a BLOG, do you all even know what a blog is? its an ONLINE JOURNAL. blogs are supposed to exist to document people's personal thoughts, opinions, and other random pieces of writing. if you think i will stop being humourous just because you find it offending, I WILL NOT.
if you don't like my blog, or if you don't like the content, then the solution to your problem is simple: DO NOT VISIT MY BLOG AGAIN. that way, you don't have to see all the things i write. you shouldn't worry about what i write, you all are acting as if i'm the Queen of Jackky Bhagnani's World, and everything i say will make the biggest impact ever on the Hindi Film Industry. it will NOT! The Jackky Bhagnani Obsession is a MY PERSONAL blog, and if you tell me what to do and what to write, then well, i won't stand for that.
why don't you all make your own blogs, and give F.A.L.T.U shooting updates? well HAHA, it's too late for that, because i've already done it. all we can do now is wait for the promos, and if you think that during that time i shouldn't write about Jackky Bhagnani because you're afraid that i'll end up just saying negative things, then your brain needs replacement.

here's the comment that triggered off this rant:
Anchal: hey kindly stop making fun d FALTU n its Crew.......u can hurt some1 sentiments!!!!!!!!!

REALLY. ('d FALTU'? whats a 'd FALTU'? my mind cannot handle the awful slang here)
whose 'sentiments' will i hurt? don't you think celebrities are USED to people talking about them? just because i add a little humour in whatever i write about them, doesn't mean that they are going to read it and cry. i'm sure the cast and crew of F.A.L.T.U are really strong people who don't really mind when people talk about them, and they certainly won't mind a little bit of joking about them here or there.
Anchal, if you think that their feelings will get hurt just because a 16 year old girl from Pakistan wrote a couple of funny lines about them, then that means you think the F.A.L.T.U cast and crew are WEAK and cannot handle a little bit of fun. you think they are like little oversensitive babies, and that they are going to go and cry to their mommy just because of something that they read on The Jackky Bhagnani Obsession.
PLEASE understand that i will NOT stop writing the way i do, and that i will continue adding humour and funny stuff in my posts, and that i am pretty sure the F.A.L.T.U cast and crew have probably never seen my blog so you don't have to worry about their opinions at all.
i find it really great that you care so much about them, but Anchal, i care about them too. that's why i have spent a LOT of time trying to find out everything i can related to F.A.L.T.U to post here. i know you have made an effort too (in the form of a facebook fan page, and you also used two of my photos without crediting me), but i have been making an effort to write about Jackky Bhagnani for four months now, before F.A.L.T.U started shooting, before all the cast members were finalized, before the tweeting frenzy started.
i appeal to you, if you don't like my blog, then please leave me alone, and please do not waste time worrying about everything that i've written. you can just continue tweeting to the F.A.L.T.U cast members and take care of your fan page, and not visit my blog ever again.

to make Jackky Bhagnani become a successful actor, all his fans need to work together. since i'm the biggest source of everything related to Jackky Bhagnani's fandom, all of YOU need to drop your negativity towards my blog, and support Jackky Bhagnani with me, THROUGH The Jackky Bhagnani Obsession.
goodbye, and thanks for ruining my Eid holiday.

they say an empty mind is a devil's workshop

that's why i'm trying to avoid doing nothing, and post here instead, but i need an inspiration.
there's not much to talk about in terms of Jackky Bhagnani and F.A.L.T.U, so i thought i'd post a new picture of myself. :P

remember when i posted about those girls making fun of me, and making gestures around their hair and face when talking about me? well, it's because of my scarf, and my very apparent fringe (haha if you didn't notice THAT, then there is no hope for you in this world).
i started wearing scarf/full hijab when i was 13, but to be honest, i found this way more comfortable. i always make an effort to dress decently, and i love just lightly covering my hair, instead of the full-only-face-showing style. since i've lived in UAE, i know that this type of covering is widely accepted there, and its a little hard to swallow here. i think being decent from the inside is more important than just looking decent and being a completely nasty person, don't you think? a lot of people ask me why i do hijab the way i do it, and i always say that i do it because i really really really like it, and that's the truth. i feel comfortable this way, rather than showing off all my hair to everybody. hijab also controls the urges to dress indecently, be nasty, and do generally wrong things (though i admit, i'm not a 100% perfect person inside and out, but i do try.), and in those rare times when people tell me that they appreciate how i cover, it makes me feel really amazing. plus, there isn't any such problem in my family, because everyone loves to dress decently and i have some seriously beautiful relatives doing hijab.

anyway, i saw The Blonde Senior today. i think all this while, i was making myself believe that he had a crush on me, just so i had a reason to crush on him. how sad. ;( so for all those who have a (not creepy) interest in my romantic life, The Blonde Senior thing was a total false alarm. maybe he was just intrigued by the headgear. :P

my brother got detention, so i have to stay an extra 45 minutes in school tomorrow since we have to go home together. honestly, the thing i like most after a long, 7-hour working day is the ride home, and the anticipation of what's for lunch, afternoon prayers, the cigs, and the bed (that i have to share at night with my mum and cat, but in the afternoon its all mine) that i take a two hour nap in, which i'll have to put off for an extra 45 minutes. my entire afternoon routine will be messed up, and i'll get less sleep (which is bad, because the sleep i get at night is not enough)

in related news, work is good. today i had to work with all 3 KG classes, and that means 77 children! a few are on long leave, otherwise it would have definitely crossed 80. we all made Eid cards, and i got covered in glitter, markers, paint, glue, and random pieces of paper. each group only had a 15 minute time slot, so everything was done in quite a rush! i'm happy to say that all the children will be taking Eid cards home to their parents though. plus, i didn't have to bring any work home with me! i've been doing a lot of preparation in terms of group lessons for the children. that's why i'm always so busy, but today i'm surprisingly not! i'm secretly hoping for an early Eid, which will mean a holiday for tomorrow. i have to work with all three KG classes again though (its sometimes horrifying, but i suppose its worth it!)

i'm also thinking about making friends with one of the teacher's sons, only for the reason that i need someone my age desperately to talk to, just as a friend. since the senior girls avoid me like the plague, i only have a couple of options in terms of boys, and one of them (the one who i want to talk to) looks like a really nice person. i hope he doesn't avoid me like the plague too! all of you need to pray that i don't chicken out of talking to him last minute, since i've not spoken to anyone my age in person since a whole frikkin year, and it's like i've forgotten how to talk. even when i speak to my brother's friends in school (those boys are really nice!), my brother shoos me away like he doesn't want me to interfere with his life. what an evil little 13 year old! i don't really mind though, i'm sure i wouldn't really be eager for him to associate with my friends (if i had any, lol), and anyway, he's just growing up, maybe he'll grow out of his weirdness.

the weather is so windy! its chilly as well, but not out-and-out freezing (for which i am very thankful). since i've recovered from a cold i caught recently, i'm not that worried about catching one again. it's still a worry trying to dig up all those winter clothes, though. plus my workspace has this full length net window (that's right, no glass!) so you can imagine how hard it is to do paper activities! everything was flying away today. but the kids and i got a few laughs out of it, and its better than the melting heat for sure!

i just wrote this post out of boredom, so i'll probably delete it after a while (or maybe not, depends if you all like it! i just needed something to do)

goodbye for nowww!

Jackky's Would-Have-Been Heroine

No, this is not one of those posts where i make up a fantasy heroine for Jackky Bhagnani and say how much better that heroine would have been for him rather than Miss 'I-Spelt-Mauritius-Wrong' Puja Gupta.
Since F.A.L.T.U has gone into post-production, there isn't much to tell you guys in terms of new updates, BUT (not the misspelled short form of buttocks, but an actual BUT), i have some old news that i haven't mentioned before, and i'm quite bored tonight, so bear with my take on the stalest news of the year, because i have nothing else to do except type out words on this white screen whilst hearing my mum arguing on the phone with my dad.

of course everyone knows about Sanjay Dutt walking out of F.A.L.T.U, right? a few of you might even be knowing why he did it, but just pretend that you don't know for my sake, because that's what my post is all about tonight.

let's start from the beginning. Jackky's dad Vashu Bhagnani, who is also the producer of F.A.L.T.U, approached Sanjay to play an important role in the film which is considered the relaunch of Jackky Bhagnani. if you're one of those silly little people who haven't caught on yet, the film's name is F.A.L.T.U.
Sanjay agreed, and his role was ready to be played, but only on one condition; Sanjay wanted the heroine of F.A.L.T.U to be Neha Oberoi, daughter of his manager, Dharam Oberoi. Vashu Bhagnani did not agree to this, because he already signed former Miss India, Puja Gupta, to play the role. Sanjay got mad and walked out on F.A.L.T.U, leaving Vashu Bhagnani in a pretty big mess.

what if Vashu had agreed, and cast Neha Oberoi instead? this would have been the female face of F.A.L.T.U:
i find her droopy eyes quite interesting. but can she breathe through that nose?

I think she's nice, though i can see why Vashu opted for Puja Gupta as the female lead opposite Jackky Bhagnani. Puja is very pretty, and will look great as a fresh faced newcomer; plus she has the Miss India title to her credit. Neha however, has been tried and tested, and unfortunately has flopped in all the Bollywood movies in which she has acted in (just 3, but remember kids, first impression is laaaast impression.):

she debuted in this one! i haven't seen it; heard it was a flop though.
LOL, i have seen this movie. 4 hours of nonsense. FLOP.
seen this one too! it was a boring floppity flop.

i wonder how Jackky Bhagnani felt about this whole business. he's been very comfortable with Puja, and been supportive to her throughout the entire shooting of F.A.L.T.U. would he have felt the same with Neha? somehow i think the answer is negative; hence the decision to not take Neha in the first place, and sacrifice a special guest appearance by Sanjay Dutt.

hopefully the decision made by Vashu Bhagnani will turn out to be beneficial for F.A.L.T.U. even though Neha was a flop, she has been critically acclaimed for Woodstock Villa, her first movie (kind of matches Jackky's story!), so we know for sure that Neha is a capable actress. Puja has to work hard to prove herself, and i am (grudgingly) sure she will play a huge part in the success of F.A.L.T.U.
if she has failed to prove herself during the shooting of the movie, there's always this option:

but hopefully these dark times shall not occur.
(this one is for you, Nas!)
xx

in other news; i saw The Blonde Senior today. he was alone in the grounds, playing basketball. i admit, i stood there watching him (hidden like a creepy stalker) for quite some time, but he didn't look my way. this new crush has also opened my eyes to two other possible crushes, both who happen to be primary teachers' sons, and they are seniors, and older than me, FYI. do not jump to conclusions, do NOT! so if The Blonde Senior thing doesn't work out, i'll set my targets on these two. or maybe i'll not say anything and wait till the entire school year passes by, and regret it later. then you all can call me Furree Chicken.
Also, three seventh grade girls approached me today. they were nudging each other and whispering about who should talk to me first. finally, one of them said something.
Girl: you're B's sister, right? (B is my brother.)
Me: yeah.
Girl: oh.. you're really pretty!
now, i could hear her voice shaking, and the other two girls she were with kept breaking out in nervous giggles, and i felt kind of sorry for them.
Me: thanks. *two second pause* so are you.
Girl: *voice shaking even more* thank you!
and they all walked away at once, whispering among themselves.

i feel pretty good about this. i was able to scare the shizzums out of seventh-grade girls! my awesomeness is increasing slowly but surely. and they thought i was pretty! maybe they're just sucking up to me because they all have a crush on my brother. BLAH.
