its an amazingly beautiful place (though I've never been there, in fact I've never been ANYWHERE except UAE and Sri Lanka), and i'm sure it'll add a lot of awesomeness to the backdrop of the film.

Dreams and Scars

MEGA LOL at the title of this post. you could say i'm in a good mood today :D

Look at that. Jackky's got such a cute scar on his forehead! Wonder how he got it? I could probably Google it and find out, but its always more fun to speculate different scenarios which may have caused the scarring. :D

on my daily round of googling, i found another video of Jackky Bhagnani on FilmyChai / BollywoodHungama called 'Grind To Glam'! so without further ado on my slow internet, i watched the entire thing with a huge grin on my face. :D

you can watch it for yourselves, since i'm too lazy to describe Jackky's interview word-by-word.

i'll just let you know that the freaky text is back, and asking all the questions! :D

and Jackky is constantly looking towards the right. WHAT'S ON THE RIGHT :O? and he's touching his face and wrists throughout the entire interview! maybe he's just freaked our by the hovering text questions. o.O

He also talks about 'F.A.L.T.U' (ugh, i wish it was called Faltu and not F.A.L.T.U, i can't even imagine what F.A.L.T.U stands for, can you? :p) and says its a young, whacked out, crazy film with a subtle message and a motivating script and the cinema-goers will be 'laughing and crying a little' once they exit the cinema hall. sounds exciting! :D

'F.A.L.T.U is not a dance film'

Yes, those are the exact words of Jackky Bhagnani.
what comes to mind when you read them? if you thought 'how on earth can a Bollywood film not be a dance film?', then you and I think SO MUCH ALIKE. but whatever Jackky says, goes, so F.A.L.T.U is not a dance film (and all this while i was calling it Faltu and not F.A.L.T.U, i wonder what F.A.L.T.U even stands for?).

Bollywood actor Jackky Bhagnani, who is doing his second film with choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza after bagging the best debut award at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), says the movie is not just about dance, but a lot more. "Even though F.A.L.T.U is being directed by a choreographer, it is not a film about dance or a film where unnecessary dance sequences are incorporated. It is lot more than that," Jackky told IANS in an interview. "It's a very different and real film where a bunch of youngsters do things their way and show the world that even though they don't follow the age old methods, they can still do things the right way," he said.

The film, which stars newcomer Pooja Gupta and actor Angad Bedi among others, is being produced by Jackky's father Vashu Bhagnani. Jackky plays a boy-next-door in the film, someone who is a rebel, but in a positive way.

A rebel, in a positive way? (this article sucks.) it didnt even elaborate on the plot. WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE MOVIE IS ABOUT! youngsters doing new things and not following old age methods? like what, using email instead of writing letters? texting instead of calling? ugh. looks like we have to wait for the movie to release to find out!
for now, not even the movie poster has been released, so i don't have a clue on what the look of the film will be like! i searched for 'f.a.l.t.u' on Google and all i got was the actor from the Star Plus drama 'Tere Mere Sapne' (yes i follow it lol) with a random girl in a movie which is also named Faltu!
what is known is that Jackky has cut his hair short for this film (HE LOOKS HOT!), and the three other confirmed cast members are nice-looking. :P

good afternoon, world! while surfing the web last night i came across a website which had photos of Aza men's fashion show, and more importantly, Jackky Bhagnani! Aza belongs to Varun Bahl (for whom Jackky Bhagnani threw a party - see previous post), so it was probably no coincidence that Jackky was there!

Jackky looks really nice. i wonder if he always wears a black thread around his neck? it is believed that wearing a black thread can protect you from the evil eyes of people. (i used to wear one too, but it broke)

anyway, if Jackky doesn't wear one regularly, HE SHOULD! there are so many people praising and admiring him from all around the world so he ought to filter the good energy from the bad.


in other news, i found (the very goodlooking) Akshay Kapoor on twitter! i remember having a massive crush on him when the Hai Junoon music video (for his movie Alag) released, in which he was dancing (as far as i can remember) in a pile of hay with Dia Mirza! Akshay is also in Kal Kissne Dekha playing the role of a fellow collegemate of Nihal Singh (Jackky Bhagnani's character).

The Party Host!

Jackky Bhagnani recently hosted a party at his Pali Hill residence for his designer friend Varun Bahl's birthday.
Guests included: Imran Khan (with his fiancé Avantika Malik), Karan Johar, Zayed Khan, Dia Mirza (!!!), Niharika Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza.
Apparently all the guests took turns being the DJ of the night, and 'went mad dancing'.
Here's what Jackky had to say about the whole affair:

for those who aren't enlightened about this occasion, 14th August is Pakistan's Independence Day and 15th August is India's.

Pakistan and India were at first the same country, but they separated in 1947.
since then, there has been tension between both the countries! but since the past few years, a lot of efforts are being made from both sides to increase the peace.

all i want to say is, i'm a pakistani and i'm proud to be one, but i love indians just as much as i love my fellow citizens!

irritating fans

OHHHH EMMM GEEEEEE. you know what annoys me the most?
Jackky Bhagnani's fans who don't really respect themselves at all. those who have no dignity and embarrass themselves online with their weird antics!

There are a few AWESOME fans out there, who would like to get their messages across, which mostly consist of admiration for Jackky's acting, looks, style etc, and a genuine appreciation on how hard he has worked to reach this point of his career, compliments for his acting etc and with a reasonable, not-scary-or-crazy interest in his personal life!

but the majority of fan messages i have come across are just CRINGE-WORTHY.
sometimes i feel ashamed over the poor uneducated quality of things his fans say. don't they realize that an educated actor would prefer reading something legible, something nice and normal that would make him smile and be grateful to his fans for?
not some cheap crap that people seem to think he would enjoy.
EXAMPLE!

okay seriously. where do i start my criticsm?

a. SPELLING.
people who can't spell simple words shouldn't be allowed to use facilities such as the internet.

b. GRAMMAR.
most of the sentences are phrased wrong, and I absolutely HATE it when people use wrong grammar in their sentences.

c. OVERDOING EVERYTHING
okay, imagine someone writing nonsense to you and beginning and ending it with: 'IIIIIII LOOOOOOVEEEEEE UUUUUUUU SWEEEEEEETOOOOOOOOO BUFFFF HAWT PERSONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN'
isnt that just SO irritating? overdoing it with the lame half-praise half-rubbish thing (its not worth calling it anything else but a THING.)

d. ASKING FOR JACKKY'S NUMBER
this one speaks for itself. he is an ACTOR, not the neighborhood hoodlum who you can talk to all night when you're feeling 'down', 'lonely', or 'emo'. he also will not have time to answer the phone just to hear nervous giggles on the other end without anyone talking.

e. ASKING JACKKY TO REPLY TO YOU
most of the websites carrying his info are unaffiliated with Jackky Bhagnani, he doesn't run it and probably doesn't know they exist. nor does he have time to reply to barely understandable gibberish.

f. TELLING JACKKY HE NEEDS ACTING CLASSES
who are you? who gave you the authority to tell Jackky what to do? did you even see his movie? even critics who were harsh on Kal Kissne Dekha still gave Jackky and Vaishali credit for their acting.

there is a lot more i want to say, but i think i should leave it here, since i've made my point!
see you later JB Fans, and make sure you're always decent and direct, and whatever you write/type should be understandable! its easier to be grateful to fans who take time out and write something sensible for the personality they like.

P.S ~ i got my IGCSE results, and I passed in everything! :D i got an A+ in English, and Bs in the rest. yay!

overreaction :D

i'm back wayyyyy sooner than i expected, (one day! LOL!) because my mood had unexpectedly lifted! :D
so you all can ignore my previous post. or you could just read it and forget about it :D whatever you do with it, i dont give a shizzle!what you need to do now is pay attention to the following words.
PLEASE PRAY THAT I GET AN AMAZING RESULT FOR MY IGCSE O LEVEL EXAMS!
the result is coming out on the 12th. i am super super super nervous, and i was on the verge of tears earlier today, because of the usual fears (will i pass? what if i fail? omg i thought my exams went awesome, did i think wrong? was i too overconfident? etc etc)
SO. the more prayers/good luck wishes the better! i'll be a nervous wreck day after tomorrow.
i took 5 subjects, so i need 3 As to be satisfied with my result. YUCK!
all everyone is doing is talking about results. everyone is scared! but knowing that doesnt provide any comfort, it just makes me even more scared.

whaaaaaaat else? i'm thinking about more obsessive things i can say about Jackky Bhagnani.
since my mind isnt working as awesomely as it usually does atm, i'll just obsess over how happy i was when he won his IIFA award for Best Debutante Male earlier this yearrrr! ♥
the power was going to go out (it goes out at fixed intervals over here) so i was watching the TV as closely as i could while they announced the winner, and when they (i keep on forgetting who THEY were, such lame details dont really register when the mind is focused on something as awesome as Jackky :p) announced Jackky's name (along with some Omi person from '3 Idiots' I THINK!!) i did a huge internal scream (because i obviously cant scream loudly in my house filled with people, they would think i'm being even more retarded than usual!) and that applaud which most fangirls do (small and fast claps while squealing :p).
BUT, Jackky barely thanked anyone! he should have thanked everyone possible, you know, so that he would stay longer on screen and all his fans would be able to see his face more :p

thats it for now. all i'm doing is staring at the screen hoping for a sudden stroke of inspiration so that i can type more and more and more.

hello world. today sucked to the extreme. my weekend sucked too, but i'm used to it.

Singapore!

another update! Jackky Bhagnani is traveling to Singapore with his family. that's great! i wonder if its just for vacation? whatever it is, we're all dying for pictures!

weekend woes.

i wonder what Jackky Bhagnani does on the weekend? does he go clubbing, does he shoot for his upcoming film, or does he stay at home and read a book or watch the reruns of all the serials on Star Plus? or maybe he's joined a secret society which holds meetings on weekends. :O wouldnt that be newsworthy? or maybe he's a pizza delivery boy. or an undercover cop. or a Freemason!
okay, i'm just rambling. the thing is, i'm home this weekend. just like almost every weekend of this summer! i have nothing to do, and sleep isnt coming.

but the thing that's eating up my mind right now is the random plot changes on Star Plus. I CANT EVEN GUESS WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE NEXT EPISODE OF ANY DRAMA! its all too much. especially when i'm missing most of them due to weird reasons. if i miss one, i wont even be able to guess what happened in the episode i missed. weird!
imagine if Jackky Bhagnani was a serial star? then all his fans (LIKE MEEEEEEE) would get to see him everyday :D he ought to try that out, don't you think? it'll be awesome to see him all the time, trying to guess his every move and hanging on to each dialogue he says. and the thousand times zooming on his face every time there's a tense moment! that would be viewers' heaven.

UGH. but we all know that'll probably never happen! film stars rarely cross into the crazy threshold of TV, and vice versa! some have done it, few being successful. but i know that the TV audience would probably welcome Jackky Bhagnani with open arms (or eyes, cause they're going to be WATCHING, get it? haha that joke sucked.) because he is so darn adorable! plus, he has the TV look. if he was cast in Tere Liye instead of Harshad Chopra, there would be a massive appeal to the show. (partly because we're all used to Harshad being in Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil instead of Tere Liye!) i would probably skip dinner to follow it. :D

i guess that's all i have at the moment. i might update later today, or most probably tomorrow. take care JB fans!

in this video, Jackky constantly tells us that fashion is something that should look good on us, and we should be comfortable in it. if it gives us discomfort, its not fashionable. :P
Jackky's own style is "chilled out" (yes, he said that himself, i didnt make anything up *stifles laughter*) with jeans, chappals, t shirts etc.
he also says he "doesnt like dressing up too much" LOL! he must have hated dressing up for those million events he's been to. :D
he mentions ORANGE! (for the day) orange has been my favourite colour since forever. Coincidence? yes! but a nice one :D if he said he liked purple for the day, i would have been grossed out.

i'm too tired to type anything else right now. :O you guys should go see the video yourself! its a pretty good interview. :D except you cant really hear the person asking the questions. its like giant ghostly text giving statements and Jackky is elaborating. well, thats my weird perception (most probably due to my lack of sleep)!

No Smoking

thats right, Jackky Bhagnani does not smoke. what a good guy. :P
i was reading an old article about him, in which he urges the people of Delhi to quit smoking! he also calls it 'uncool' and he had a 'strange feeling from inside' after smoking a cigarette.
well, thats great! :D

Bollywood newcomer Jackky Bhagnani Friday joined the league of celebrities raising their voices for a cause, urging Delhiites to quit smoking. He stressed that the habit was unhealthy and "uncool". "I've tried smoking a couple of times and I realized it is not a very good thing. In fact after smoking I had a strange feeling from inside...It's not at all a healthy habit or a style statement to pursue and I'm saying it because I mean it," Jackky told IANS here.

Jackky's anti-smoking message is part of a campaign for World No Tobacco Day that will be observed Sunday.

"I have not flown all the way from Mumbai to assert myself over my audiences in Delhi but to simply request them to not play with their lives and the lives of passive smokers by lighting another fag," he said.

Jackky was in the capital as a part of BIG 92.7 FM's "Sutta Choro, Kal Kissne Dekha Hai Campaign" at the radio station.

Asked if he would light a cigarette on-screen, he said: "I don't know whether I'll have to do it or not in the future for a movie but what I do know is that I don't think I'll be doing it that easily unless it's a hardcore role of smoker that requires smoking on-screen," he maintained.
